FEATURED for DECEMBER
DON THOENIG
Most people who stop by the store know Don as
the character out on the porch strumming a guitar while
playing the harmonica and kazoo as well as the pot lids
strapped to his knees. Sometimes he will introduce you to
the green puppet who always accompanies him or fascinate
young and old with some simple magic. But Don is not being
featured for his entertaining performances - he is also a talented
artist who placed his Double Image Magic Christmas cards in
Prim Pantry etc. the first Christmas we were open. Each original
design is executed with a quill pen and a bottle of ink then printed
at a local Sussex County printer. The "Magic" occurs when the card is
turned up-side down to reveal the second image. Since Christmas is
when Don's very special talents shine, we decided to feature him
this month and on December 3rd will be giving away with any purchase
a light-up pen and one of Don's postcards.
